Premise: One of the leading Indian IT services companies entrusted PeopleLogic ITS team with the humongous challenge of organising recruitment drive for identifying candidates for a few roles.
Challenge: The main challenges are a) Duplication of Profiles b) Sourcing updated profiles that are not older than 6 months c) continuous follow-up with candidates d) large number (25-30) HR and TA SPOCS to coordinate
PeopleLogic Approach and Strategy
Segregation: The requirements are arranged in the order of easy to source to difficult to source. The teams are divided into groups of 2-3 as per the requirement – vanilla or niche
Requirement Analysis: The JD was analysed thoroughly using our JD analysis tool, scientifically developed by our in-house team. The important skills and experience were mapped out.
Planning: The entire day is divided into 2 hour slots. Each requirement is sourced for 1 major skill within a two-hour slot and the profiles are thoroughly compared with the JD. A unique technique is used to filter & save those profiles that have the maximum chance of being selected by the client.
Constant and Continuous Follow up: The candidate engagement team ensures that the selected candidates are continuously contacted and the client engagement team ensures that the profiles are submitted on time and the SPOCS are updated accordingly.
Kanban Board: A whiteboard similar to the KANBAN board is maintained by the team where all requirements are marked and the progress on each requirement is updated.
Success
Meticulous planning and the implementation of the plan to the T is the key to any successful project. The success of the first recruitment drive led the happy client to give us more such drives and in 2024 alone PeopleLogic ITS team has completed 70+ recruitment drives and have arranged for 500- 700 interviews.
